Ich würde mich selbst nicht als klassischen Autididakt bezeichnen. Mit dem zeichnen habe ich sehr früh gezeichnet. Dabei bin ich nie systemagisch vorgegangen sondern habe immer aus dem Bauch heraus gezeichnet was dazu führte das ich nie der große Abzeichner war, aber schon als jugendlicher einen wiedererkennbaren Stil entwickelt hatte.
Erst im Erwachsenenalter begann ich damit, Bücher über das Zeichnen zu lesen und meinen Stil zu festigen.
Nach wie vor ist meine Arbeit jedoch Prozessorientiert. Meine Fähigkeit basiert nur zu einem geringen Teil aus theoretischem Wissen. Vielmehr jedoch aus Erfahrungen und der Freude am Ausprobieren.
Ich arbeite hauptsächlich mit Bleistift und Fineliner. Die digitale bearbeitung zeigt sich lediglich auf das Ausarbeiten von Kontrast und Helligkeit.
